Solstice Counseling & Wellness Center understands that treatment for substance abuse can be costly and that very few people are able to afford the care on their own. They also understand that the cost of treatment may deter you from getting the help you or your loved one needs.

We don’t believe that cost should be a factor in getting treatment for substance abuse or any other disorder that requires treatment in order to live a happy, fulfilling life.

For this reason, Solstice takes most major insurances in order to provide you treatment for your illness. These are just a few of the insurance companies who work with Solstice to provide care for their clients:

Horizon BCBS

Horizon BCBSHorizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey is part of
of 38 independent community-based plans.

They have provided insurance coverage since 132 when Associated Hospitals of Essex County, Inc. was formed as a multi-hospital payment plan and they are one of the first Blue Cross plans in the country.

Their mission is to improve the healthcare experience for their members and the communities they serve.

UnitedHealthcare

NJ Medicaid

The State of New Jersey provides health insurance to parents, caretakers, dependent children, pregnant women and those who are blind or disabled.

In order to qualify, you simply must be a New Jersey resident or qualified alien and meet certain income criteria.

If you meet the criteria, you can receive health insurance that could cover your treatment costs.

NJ Family Care

NJ Family CareNew Jersey Family Care is a publicly funded health insurance program that qualifies New Jersey residents of any age for free or low cost health insurance. The program includes coverage for mental health and substance abuse services. The program is specifically designed for New Jersey residents who are not provided health insurance by their employer. Income requirements are as follows:

Children 18 and under – Covered if the family income is 350 percent of the Federal Poverty Limit. This would mean a family of four must make less than $84,875.

Parents/Caretaker Relatives – Covered if the family income is 133 percent of the Federal Poverty Limit. This means a family of four must make less than $32,253. Adults between the ages of 19 and 64 with no dependent children also fall into this category.

Pregnant Women – Covered if their income is less than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. The income for a family of four must be less than $31,860.
